Forgot to mention my boys’ latest quotes that made me smile. Luke, while observing pigeons in Washington D.C. on our field trip, inquired, “When they move their feet, is there something connected to their head?”
And last week, we had this little conversation: While sewing Nathan’s stuffed animal’s little heart back on (let me explain: it’s a dog named Lilly that look like she’s carrying a heart in her mouth)–I told Nathan to tell Lilly to let me know if it hurts. He leaned in real close and whispered, “Mommy, she’s NOT real.”
If you’re not doing this already, start a little book where you write these down. They’ll be such a TREASURE when she’s older and doesn’t say her little cute Bug-isms anymore!!
